New Year's Eve!

Have a very Happy New Year!

"Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And days o' lang syne?
For auld lang syne, my dear,
For auld lang syne,
We’ll take a cup o’ kindness yet,
For auld lang syne."

Let's all take a cup o' kindness at the reunion this summer, for auld lang syne! See you there!

Look what we found!

It's Marcia!
And although this looks like a clip of Marcia from 1984, it was actually posted online last month! Did she find the fountain of youth and not tell any of us? :)
Marcia's interview begins at 2:58, FYI.

If you are around, try to catch a girls' basketball game and cheer on the Lady Trojans. Click here for the schedule.

What'd you get for Christmas?

If we were lucky we got some of these popular "toys of the year" when we were growing up:
1967 - Spirograph
1973 - Mastermind
1974 - Magna Doodle
1977 - Slime, Othello, Holly Hobby doll
1978 - Simon, anything Star Wars
1980 - Rubiks Cube
1983 - My Little Pony, He-Man & the Masters of the Universe
1984 - Care Bears, Cabbage Patch doll, Trivial Pursuit

and, of course, the ever-popular G.I. Joe, Barbie, Legos...
What were some of your favorite childhood toys?

Deck the Halls

Can you believe we are counting down the 12 days of Christmas already?!

Christmas was always a fun time at Alexander with our choir and band concerts, the Christmas assembly, Christmas dance, decorating our lockers, the snow "sculptures" competitions which our class never won...

For those of you with kids in school, we hope that they are having as much fun as we did and will have great memories to share with friends 25 years later!
And we wish you all a relaxing and joyous holiday with your loved ones.

The Booze Joint

Hmmm... what to say... what to say about our little getaway?
We were drawn there on warm summer nights and on cold, snowy nights.
We'd swing by whenever we could, hoping a fun friend or someone we had a crush on would be there -- and that they brought the malt duck or the beer.
We laughed, we gabbed, we played music, we jumped the train (well, a few of us did...), we partied, we enjoyed hanging out together.
Good times.
Let's have more fun together at the reunion and share some memories.
Save the date - July 18th & 19th. Be sure to bring a fun friend and/or the crush that you married!
P.S. Tim T. will be there:)

Homecoming 1983

Homecoming ’83 began with an assembly on October 6th during which the royalty was crowned, JV sports teams were recognized, and our foreign exchange students (Emre and Roberto) were introduced.

Homecoming week officially began October 11th with dress up day, followed by green & gold day, punk day, and finally hat & college t-shirt day. At the second homecoming assembly the cheerleaders got everyone fired up with a yelling contest, followed by Varsity sports teams recognition.

The weekend began with the Homecoming Parade with the theme Music Through the Ages; our Senior class tied for 4th place with the First Graders! How funny was that?!

Boys soccer had a 3-2 win over Leroy, Girls soccer lost to Pembroke 8-1, Cross Country came in first at their meet.

Out football teams battled Barker but came up short with JV losing 24-15 and Varsity going down 36-22.

Saturday ended with the dance in the gym with live music by Rodan.
