Christmas was always a fun time at Alexander with our choir and band concerts, the Christmas assembly, Christmas dance, decorating our lockers, the snow "sculptures" competitions which our class never won...

For those of you with kids in school, we hope that they are having as much fun as we did and will have great memories to share with friends 25 years later!

Nobel Prize Winners

The Nobel Prize winners for 2008 will be honored tomorrow in Sweden.

In 1984, Archbishop Desmond Tutu won the Nobel Peace Prize for his anti-apartheid activism. "Tutu is vocal in his defense of human rights and uses his high profile to campaign for the oppressed. Tutu also campaigns to fight AIDS, poverty and racism."
